Havant District Pubwatch Launch New Website?
Dozons of pubs in the Havant and Waterlooville areas have joined a scheme which will make it easy for bar staff to identify known troublemakers [Read More]...

Havant District Pubwatch is a police-led initiative which involves landlords being able to keep in touch on this website.
It will give landlords access to photos of known offenders and will let them report incidents to the police at the touch of a button.
Many pubs have been members of the existing Pubwatch scheme for years, but it has only had a limited effect, as it often means landlords must call police for information about offenders.
There four Pubwatch schemes in Havant and Waterlooville, and offenders often play the system by being banned from one scheme, only to go and cause havoc in a different area. This new scheme aims to unify all pubs in the area, from Southbourne to Denmead, to send a zero-tolerance message to offenders.
Through co-operation between licensees and the police a safer drinking environment is achieved. Troublemakers are deterred, assaults on staff and customers are reduced, as is damage to property, resulting in peace of mind for the customer.
This site will also promote and improve existing relations between licensed premises and the police, resulting in swift assistance when required.
It's about bringing the pubs together to show people trouble will not be tolerated by the licensee or any other licensee. If you are banned from one pub, you are banned from all ![]()
